International security is the measure that international organizations and states take to ensure safety, security, and survival on a global scale. Historically, international security has focused more on military and diplomatic concerns, but as technology and environmental issues grow, conversations have drifted to a more modern focus.
Currently, environmental, gender, violence, health security, poverty, and many more pressing issues are what impact international measures to ensure safety and security for people all over the world. Without these measures being installed, the International Order will be eroded alongside democracy and a stable economy. Authoritarianism will rise, and humanitarian crises will become more prevalent.
This paper, analyzed and researched by Cabarrus Early College of Technology Model United Nations students, goes over some pressing issues regarding security internationally, which involve:
Cyberattacks in Canada, researched by Katherine Darby
The Economic Decline in Europe, researched by Makayla Taylor
The Effects of the British on India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, researched by Rimsha Shamim
Propaganda in the Middle East, researched by Abigail Armour
Social Inequality in Germany, researched by Lacey Elliott
Cultural Effects of Human Trafficking, researched by William Swayze
International security continues to be a crucial aspect in political discussions. Bringing light to specific situations around the world is incredibly important for the stability of our future.
